New Canadian Returns Address

We are pleased to announce a move to a new partner in Canada that will allow all Ezi services and fulfillment operations to expand and some exciting opportunities for sellers wanting to move stock into North America.

Please update your returns address now on all sales channels remembering if you use FBA to update your removal address too.

Our Canadian Return labels will be updated shortly to the new address.

Please note our new Canadian hub and USA-Illinois hub are using our new software and you will be given access this from early April.

Temporary Issue with The Netherlands Hub

Due to a recent change in management at the NL hub, coupled with staff shortages due to annual leave, there is a temporary backlog in processing returns and shipments.
We want to assure you that we're working hard to resolve this issue and have brought in additional staff to assist with the backlog. We expect normal operations to resume early next week (week commencing 13th March 2023).

Continuing Issues with USPS at the USA Florida hub.

We are aware of a number of issues due to USPS services and processes which have been in a state of chaos and disarray for some time in Miami. Unfortunately this is still continuing.

Our USA hub is receiving cages of parcels some weeks AFTER the tracking states it has been delivered. They are also receiving cages of parcels out of sequence. For example in January 2023 they received a cage of parcels on the 30th January which were tracked as delivered on the 26th January. On the 31st January they received 2 cages containing parcels which were tracked as delivered on the 19th and 24th January!!

Please be assured that the hub is up to date with returns processing but unfortunately they may not have actually received all parcels on the date that they are tracked as delivered. However they should eventually receive them at a later date.

As a consequence, we will not be raising any delivery queries with the hub until things have stabilized.

Please note that in line with Amazon guidelines, and in order to avoid negative feedback which could impact on your future selling potential, we would strongly recommend that you refund your Amazon customers as soon as the parcel is tracked as delivered by USPS.

We are of course monitoring the situation and will keep you updated.

Ezi Returns USA New Jersey address change -

IMPORTANT UPDATE ACTION REQUIRED

We informed all sellers using our USA new Jersey address in December 2022 that our partners who operate the New Jersey returns address is being closed down in early 2023.

Their decision, which was a surprise to us, is due to various reasons around their own business and not to do with Ezi Returns. We were informed of this just a couple of weeks ago which we realize is not ideal timing with peak season already in progress but we have acted quickly to appoint a new returns partner in the Chicago area.

This move will actually be an improvement as the new partner will be offering the full range of Ezi Returns services that were not previously available in New Jersey and a greater range of shipping services.. The new partners will also be operating on the new Ezi software so if you use us in other countries all your returns, orders and shipments will be on one system.

Our new software will go live only with the Chicago hub initially in January with our other hubs moving to it in February 2023.

Processing of any returns still arriving until mid January will continue as normal at New Jersey.

Shipments of your goods will continue from New Jersey until the end of January.

Parcel diversion will be set up with USPS etc. from the end of January for any remaining returns to be re routed to the new address

If you use Amazon FBA please remember to also update your FBA removal address.

Shipping Rate Increases from EU to UK - effective from 28th October 2022

Please note due to increased costs from transport companies, some shipping rates have been updated from EU countries to the UK on our consolidated services from 28th October. Rates exclude VAT but include door to door shipping & customs clearance as returned goods exempt of taxes & duties.

USPS Return Labels peak period Surcharge

Please note that all USPS return labels used from 1st November 2022 to 31st January 2023 will incur a peak period surcharge of £0.70 / 0.80 euros / $0.80 per label in addition to the prices shown on our labels price list.

The carriers impose this charge due to an increase in staff and warehouse space to ensure parcels continue to move through the network efficiently. The surcharge will be passed to you at cost and this will be included in the rate on your invoices during this period.

Occasionally we have to move our returns hub addresses due to either existing partners moving to new larger / better premises or we may need to appoint a new partner to continue our expansion and improve services.

Please check now, each of your return addresses are correctly entered onto your sales channels, website, paperwork or wherever you use them.

We are still hearing of some packages sent to addresses that were changed 2 years ago! In such cases we can not help with packages that do not reach the correct destination which can result in losses or extra costs to you.

All your addresses are available within the Ezi customer portal. Go to the home page dashboard or help menu.

Vacancy for Shipping and Customs Specialist

Due to our continued expansion Ezi Returns are looking to appoint a Shipping & Customs specialist to join the shipping team to assist with running the shipping operations in Ezi Returns, initially in liaison with the Director.

The role will include the following:

To be involved in driving forward new software developments to keep abreast of new customs regulations.
To research the customs schemes in different countries so we can provide our customers with comprehensive advice and recommendations.
To liaise and appoint customs brokers worldwide to facilitate our shipping. Ideally, we would need a customs broker in each country to action the import clearance on behalf of Ezi Returns customers.
To be involved in setting up a shipping management platform that we are rolling out across our hubs to centralise Ezi's shipping operations.
To liaise with couriers to get the best rates.

The role is varied and requires flexibility. The role can be carried out on a remote working basis although there will be a requirement for occasional travel to attend certain meetings, hub visits, or events as requested.

Delays at the Florida Hub

Issues with USPS and high volume of returns

Our Florida hub is currently experiencing delays in processing due to an unprecedented increase in return volumes in addition to severe delays from USPS deliveries. This has been compounded by snow storms and COVID issues. Currently we cannot answer any queries at this time while they concentrate on keeping processing as up to date as possible. Please be assured they are doing everything in their power to overcome issues

Please note that USPS tracking may say that the goods have arrived at the hub, but this may not be the case. Our USA hub has reached out to USPS for a meeting to try and solve these issues as a matter or priority.
